Science models
Chetana has two decades long experience of organising science fair and science model competition. Also continuing weekly science model workshop. Has organised science model workshop in many schools.
Selected models exhibited in chetana's science fair:
Solar cooker: It is an insulated cardboard box with a lid having a glass window. It works well when placed in sunlight.
Thermal cooker: It is an insulated cardboard box. Half-boiled food is kept in this box. After a short time food becomes full boiled.
Sieve of ‘The Zombie’: It is a sieve which does not allow water to pass through. It makes Edward Lyer’s nonsense poem ‘The Zombie’ real. It works on and demonstrates surface tension of water.
Reaction top: This model may be used in 12th standard again. Here it will demonstrate couple of moments or torque. A slight variation of this model can demonstrate gyroscopic motion of earth.
Lightweight lifter: This simple model, made of hard tube, balls and rope demonstrates conversion of kinetic energy to potential energy and vice-versa. It also gives idea of centrifugal force and cross-product of two vectors.
